What Your Reservation Time Means

When you make a service reservation, what you are actually scheduling is a meeting with your Service Adviser. The actual service work is performed following this meeting, and may even be some time later in the day if parts must be ordered, etc.

Because of this, arriving on time is key - otherwise, you will arrive during other Customer meetings and have to wait until your Service Adviser is available.
