Toyota Prius Pickup Concept

Back in 2007, a Toyota hybrid pickup truck concept was revealed at the Detroit Motor Show. It was surrounded in mystery before this unveiling, and even more so after.

The concept slipped into obscurity while the Japanese auto maker attempted to build up its already highly successful Prius nameplate.

Now that the company is thinking of branding off Prius into its own sub-brand (the sedan, and sportier coupe and other models) their supposed Prius pickup…

Toyota Creates More US Jobs With New Plant

The Southern Indiana region is about to see an expansion at one of their larger auto facilities, making way for more US-based jobs. The New Albany assembly line is hoping to produce 30 more jobs for the area. It's not much, but in this economy every bit helps.

The plant will create and supply parts for the upcoming Toyota Camry model, and all 30 position will be filled before a 2013 deadline.
