Both the Camry and Corolla seat five passengers but the Camry offers a little more room. The Camry offers 15.4 cubic feet of cargo space, 102.7 cubic feet of interior volume and 190.9 inches in length and 71.7 inches wide. The Corolla isn't far off though. With 13 cubic feet of cargo space, interior space of 97.5 cubic feet and is 183.1 inches long and 69.9 inches wide. So the Camry is only a hair bigger than the Corolla in overall size but they both offer lots of space for sedans.

Powertrain & Efficiency

When it comes to power there is some sizable differences between the Camry and the Corolla. The Camry, for example, offers two engine options; a 2.5-liter four cylinder with 178 horsepower or a 3.5-liter V6 with 268 horsepower. The Corolla only has one engine to offer, a 1.8-liter four cylinder engine that delivers 132 horsepower. However, when it comes to fuel efficiency the Toyota Corolla takes the cake with 28city/36 highway; while the Camry gets 24city/33highway.

Safety

Safety is something that Toyota does better than anyone else and is very close to being a tie, but the Camry prevails. Both vehicles come standard with Toyota's Star Safety System which is made up of six advanced safety features; vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-lock brake system, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, and smart stop technology. The Camry also comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense which includes pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert, automatic high beams, and dynamic radar cruise.
